Who We Are

Expedition Basketball Club Inc. is a non-profit sports-based youth development and education organization based in Arlington, VA.  Expedition offers the youth in the area the highest quality athletic programming, academic support, enrichment, and opportunities for lifelong success. Expedition goals are to produce athletes who can play sports at the highest competitive levels while cultivating strong students and well-rounded citizens. Teamwork is the principal foundation of Expedition. Teamwork shapes our comprehensive approach to inspiring self-confidence, athletic excellence, academic achievement, sportsmanship, and leadership in the youth we serve.

Our Mission

Expedition mission is to educate and empower promising undeserved youth to be leaders, champions, and student-athletes by developing the skills necessary for success in high school, college, and life. Expedition provides a platform for student athletes to achieve higher education and opportunities through sports while teaching them life skills to become the next leaders for our society.

Expedition focuses on the development of young athletes with the goal of them becoming productive members of their communities. Being part of the community is central to the success of Expedition. They are expected to contribute to their community in a positive way and study diligently in the classroom.

Expedition coaches and educators are positive role models who guide the youth through adolescence and into young adulthood. Expedition coaches will motivate our youth to develop the social, behavioral, academic and athletic assets necessary for maintaining physical and mental health throughout their lives.

The youth of today need our help, guidance and opportunity for their development. Our youth must be afforded the chance for a successful start in life regardless of race, gender and family composition. The youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow.
